Personal Data We Process
- Identity and contact data: name, telephone number, e-mail address
- Transaction security data: records relating to enquiries made through the website
- Health data: only within the examination and treatment process — the complaints, diagnoses, test results and treatment information you share
Purposes of Processing
- Responding to your appointment and contact requests
- Planning, delivering and managing health services
- Providing medical diagnosis, treatment and care
- Keeping patient records as required by law
- Fulfilling obligations arising from applicable legislation
Legal Basis
Contact and appointment requests are processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the Law — the establishment, exercise or protection of a right, and the legitimate interest of the data controller. Your health data is processed under Article 6(3) by a health professional bound by a duty of confidentiality for the purposes of medical diagnosis and treatment, and otherwise on the basis of your explicit consent.
Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred only where required by legislation — to the Ministry of Health and authorised public bodies — and, on a limited basis, to the suppliers providing our website hosting. It is not shared with other third parties and is not transferred abroad.
Retention Period
Your data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the minimum retention periods set by legislation; once those periods expire it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed; to request information if it has been; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Turkey or abroad; to request correction where it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its erasure or destruction; to request that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; to object to a result arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
